+1 - This mixed with the hopeful event of creating a new Mage Association in Britain... If he does, I personally hope he calls it 'The Clock Tower' xD
Huh, looking forward to how the MC responds to the Devils after this chapter. If he's smart, he'd hold the technology trade hostage for Euclid's head.
While this chapter is satisfying, I find it hilarious you skipped out on the most obvious defense. Dumbbydoor is directly requesting them to make his home situation as similar as possible to Toms. "Yes, I have the power to become a dark lord, but do you really want to be the cause of me becoming one? This is the story of one Tom Marvolo Riddle: He was alone, no love, no real family, nothing to really anchor him to this world, except power. My life with the muggles? I was alone, no love, no real family, nothing to anchor me to the world except power. With Arcturus? At least I have family." - That said, I do love seeing him screw over Dummydoor.
Alright, I have to admit that I'm moderately disappointed Rio didn't send Mace Windu to meet with Nick Fury...
Why? I mean, seriously, WHY? I get why he shouldn't tell the whole truth, but what is with these idiot protagonists that don't have a clue how to lie? It's not like a partial truth would even hurt him unless he started mumbling on about this world being a movie.
Seriously hope that year ends soon; this ninja-orphanage arc makes me feel ill.
The MC you're referring to is a guy who goes out of his way to save the life of an assassin that not only screwed him over 6 ways to Sunday thrice over, but is also a mass murder that tried to effectively kill the entire crew of the ship he was on. Some would argue that actually saving such an individual falls under the "Supreme Zealous Stupidity" of the Jedi Order's 'righteousness'.
Sure, you owe them nothing, but you also don't owe them the effort of a lengthened conversation. Just answering the question is often more expedient than being pointlessly aggressive when it costs literally nothing.
I'm looking forward to seeing the consequences of this in FotR timeline.
For once Danzo is actually right; Danzo is the embodiment of creating harsh realities within the world. Hiruzen is blind to Danzo's actual existence.
