Here I am reading another one of this author's novels, and yep, I'm absolutely loving this. The synopsis gives the basic premise, but there's a whole lot that happens from there, and well executed this 'lot' is. As you'd expect from what's described in the premise, this arranged marriage isn't gonna be smooth sailing, from the romance (of course) to like everything threatening them. In particular, I found the pacing to be exceptional with all this, as well as the fantastic character development. Up to chapter 157 as of this review. Guess I'll be binging the other works sooner or later.

LIKEAnd now I've reached the end of this novel. With that, I got good and bad things to comment on. Gonna start with the bad: the ending felt rushed, very rushed, both in plot and having unfinished/unsatisfying character developments. To an extent, I'd include some of the last arc with that too (leading to me personally not getting over a certain event that occurred, only to find out the novel's ending in like 15 chapters). It's a shame the bonus chapters never got fully fleshed out as well. I know that's a bunch of negatives I just said, but besides all that, the rest of what I got to say is akin to what I said in my original review. Among what I've read from this author so far (everything besides Moonlight Demon, Ven Chronicles, and excluding the new Succubus- uhh Nim- uhh Succubus novel), this one is my favorite in its story, its characters, and its romance. Whether its aspects are better than the other stories, I'd say is subjective, though at least I'd say the romance certainly is. Really good developments throughout (mostly), and despite my earlier comments, this is overall a really solid novel, kudos to you author. As of now, I'd give 4.75 stars, which I may or may not change in the future. Who knows, I might reread or change my standards one day (my reading list will reflect changes if so)
