somewhat decent story I guess but it moves at a snail's pace, you get about 5 minutes a chapter sometimes. would be much better without that pacing, but don't mention that to the author in hopes he'll understand or you'll get a very salty and angry response, he's one of those who think their work is perfect. much better reads elsewhere

In all honesty could have been a great novel but was sadly ruined by the author’s chidishness, constantly breaking the 4th wall, unfunny “trolling”, random rants through mc’s inner monologue etv, truly a waste of tume to even bother reading

I debated whether to rate this honestly or to give a biased review. But Zhen owes me a castle, so... I'll do both. To all Zhen's old and new readers. You should have already known what you're entering into when you read his novels. So, I won't comment on that. But Zhen is certainly a good writer minus his SHAMELESSNESS. Now, to end this bias review...ZHENNY... WHERE IS MY CASTLE?

So the writing quality is above average and has promise, especially if it's improved apon in the future. Unfortunately that only takes into account the actual "novel" part of the webnovel. I don't know why you have but your inner thoughts in between random points in the novel. Either talking about your google searches; speaking up for the MC when he does something outwardly brash and dumb that's really all planned out by the super smart MC that outsmarts all the dumb dumb NPCs; or just commenting on other novels in your novel. On the subject of characters everyone's IQ is unfortunately at potato level at least compare dto the MC. Yes he knows the future and what people are like but there are still some holes in is thought processes representative of holes in the other characters brains. The world building is standard so far, no introduction to the power levels or the MCs goals. We learn as he does them which is a bad point to be as the author jas the freedom to make scenarios increasingly convoluted while all being part of the MCs plan. We don't even know about the actual details of the threat until mich later. The actual thing hes's preparing for the whole story. Also some actions tkaen by the MC are done for their "shock value" when there are other ways that the same result can be achieved in more amicably, which would be expected from an actual mature, future knowing MC.Although I harp the author has a lot of potential and his work has a personal, unique spark that's missing from a lot of works. I feel vast improvements can be made from more story and character interactions planning where the author attempts to poke holes in his own scenarios and see where it leads him.Wishing you the best.

What an exceptionally written novel! Zhen has done it again, this time it is painstakingly obvious how much thought, inspiration, and blood sweat and tears he has poured into this passion project! The descriptions are vivid and draw you into the world, the conversations are active, meaningful, and most importantly, they are believable. Zhen has done an excellent job and i am excited to see where he brings RDK and how it is going to play out.

I personally like this book. I think that it is a really good concept. I just wish there were more chapters because now I have to wait for them 😭
