I'm reading a diary, in the first chapter I thought it was bizarre and strange, I didn't like it, then I read the second and confirmed... I hate this type of story, I should put it in the title like a diary or in the synopsis

The problem is that if the fic doesn’t get your attention or interest in the first few chapters, you won’t read further, you need to make it interesting in the first few chapters, wich is why many people explain their MC’s power in the beginning because it will grab the readers attention

I totally agree with you , all I'm saying is that this book is fantastic book if you can see pass it's first 10 chapter ( I think first 10 chapters too are great but the writing style isn't something familiar to most)

For everyone disliking it because it seems almost like a diary or journal, it's just the authors way to skip a few years as quickly as possible while still telling us some important information for the future. If the story started at the beginning when the storytime(diary) started then it would take 20-25 chapters to get where we are currently in the timeline. I wouldnt be surprised if it took longer. It was basically a training montage, we get to see his psychosis and we get to see his trauma. We didnt need to go into too much depth for it

The mc TALKS TOO MUCH AND OVER SHARES. Also is VERY INCONSISTENT AT TIMEs, these factors annoy me greatly, however the story is actually pretty good though their is some slight Sokka bashing. It has a unique take on the avatar world, I'll recommend you try it, though their are some really annoying thing the mc does, if you can ignore those then you will likely enjoy this.

Really bad writing style in the beginning with a very generic origin. which is confusing since this author spoke about wanting to write this fanfic for a while but obviously didn't spend an ounce of creativity for the start of his fanfic. putting aside the fact that avatar is the weakest world to be a villian in, the MC just comes off as weak, of the mind. like he feels like a victim who deserves acknowledgement but is too edgy to say it out loud. kinda like sasuke but gay. Honestly nothing deserving of appreciation except for the attempt. at least not yet.
