I think the author watched a short You Tube video about One Piece and deemed himself an expert. Also, making people aware of betrayals has 0 consequence and characters forget things from one paragraph to the next. An example of this is the Screen shows Nami with the Straw Hats in the Grand Line, yet Arlong isn't even bothered. Maybe he's like "I'm sure that the girl I've enslaved for 10 years left peacefully with that crew capable of killing every singe one of my crewmates in one strike. No need to bother her now."

LIKEAgreed. This story fails at its main premise by having people completely fail to react to what they're shown. Everyone focuses on the fight being highlighted rather than the tons of information they're getting. Just the fact that Sabo remains the same despite seeing scenes of him, Luffy and Ace playing around as kids is a big fail. No one cares that Kuro is still alive, in fact Usopp and Kaya are just calmly watching the first fight and talking about how he's gonna be strong in the future, not a care about the deadly pirate acting as her butler. No reaction from Crocodile seeing Robin with the straw hats. Nothing from Big Mom seeing one of her daughters held prisoner by Moria. Just nothing but 'ooh Luffy so stonk, will he win this fight or lose?'. Even when they do react, it's something stupid and over the top. Like we're supposed to believe that Sengoku and the three admirals are actually wary about Nightmare Luffy. Like they couldn't put him in the ground with one blow.
