Everything is good, but please don't make Jon a naive character, he should prioritise his strength foremost , It was Gwen decision to leave him( there is always a way ) she prioritise her family, for her benefits though reluctant it was her decision, Jon should think this with his brain 🧠 and be calculating whether 1: To achieve his goals, while surviving in this harsh world 2: To thow his plans away for a girl who leaves him when life gets hard , simply put she is not faithful, whatever the reason may be I don't want him to harrass her or get revenge. Just let her be.When in this world there are beautiful people everywhere and there must be more talented and loyal female for him in this world for him. Just put it this way would you rather have a wife who sells her body when life gets rough for you whether she loves you or not doesn't matter. Let's be practical he cannot have every women who loves him as his lover That's just destroying your hardwork done on this novel. Please I implore you to think about it. Gwen is not for him and I would be very sad for Jon if he gets out of his way to disturb her life when she has already come terms with it . It's a do or die turn for this novel. Author please think even in real life why would you marry an ungrateful person when you can find someone much much better.
