The novel would probably be a lot better. If the translation team or even the author himself didn't make a book all about China and then decide to make all the names American, it makes it so hard to read when you're reading american names spoken in a way like their Chinese. If that makes any sense you know constantly saying, you're last named to introduce yourself or constantly saying your full name whenever you're talking to someone, which is something no one does if they speak English, not even the British are as backwards as could be. But my main problem with this novel is that the person who posted this on webnovel has straight up stolen it. He is in no way connected with the author or the translation team who made this novel and has instead just pirated it from a translation site and then Post it on web novel. And I don't know how it's not been taken down yet. I've seen plenty of other people comment about it as well. So it's kind of odd that webnovel just hasn't done anything.
