The first 2020 chapters are a bit rough. But not in a sense words, bad grammar or anything. Just a different style of writing that you're not really used to period instead of taking the route that most authors do where they need to explain everything that's happening. The author jumps a little bit period Instead of writing how they walked from point a to point b, the author will simply state that they are going to go do something and thenre are periods.It's hard to explain, but after a couple chapters.You get used to it and that odd feeling disappears. Overall though I would say this is an amazing book, I came here from the inheritance of the magic king simply because I like geriding style.And I wasn't disappointed with this novel in any way. Some pieces are a bit does take a little bit of a tonal shift In the latter half of the story. Spoilers ahead, once Cain becomes an ancient, the story goes from more of a dungeon, crawling power fantasy.To what if someone who used to be a human got the ability to create people essentially.And power them up. It goes from the dungeon, crawling mood and tomorrow.They a slice of life with a bit of action. That doesn't take away from the story at all.Because it's more or less.Just us being caught up on what some of the other characters are doing.While kane goes through a turbulent period in his life with misha being kidnapped. Friend, you know, hasn't read this book before?If you end up liking the progression of the novel after ten chapters I would say you absolutely have to finish the entire book because it is amazing

I wanted to give this novel a try , but after five chapters , the grammar was unbearably bad. Even though it said that it was edited, it was still horrendous to read. And I can only imagine how bad it was before the edit. I skipped ahead to chapter 89. Which I think is the last free one? Just to see if the grammar got a better and I saw zero improvement. From what I did manage to trudge through it seemed like a really interesting novel but I cannot deal with the grammar so I had to stop reading it .Author you have a pretty good idea on your hands. I just hope that when you finish it You go back through and proof freed and edit the entire novel

This novel is okay at the beginning. But once the main character gets even a little bit of power , it turns into a rape fantasy. Any chance the author gets he has to make it abundantly clear that the main character is black Mailing or manipulating or straight up raping any woman that he spends time with. It doesn't help that the story is also as bland and slow as it can get.

its a glorified smut novel and I didn't see the r18 tag at first. I'm dropping this because I hat smut but if the author had more than 2 chapters of actual story between the smut it might be bearable but this is just a smut novel woth a hint of action.2/10 just cuz I hate smut but the author wrote this book with the intention for it to be smut so I won't rate it unfairly.

Honestly, I never read the author's previous work so I wasn't able to articulate that feeling. I was getting but now that I see your comment. It matches up so many holes in the story or even just holes. That I thought I was having in my thinking process. Like our 2 main characters, essentially end up becoming obsolete. And that wouldn't be a bad thing. Necessarily, if this wasn't their novel, even if it is a continuation of his other work after it finished or even if it's not finished, I don't know. For warning everything ahead is text to speech so there will be errors. Honestly I don't really know how to feel about this story. There's so much good about it. That even the bad parts in my opinion, are easy to glass over. But one of the hardest things for me about the story. Is that the further you get in the story? The more you realize that there is more than one main character and well, that's not bad. Sometimes it gets a bit frustrating since the author likes to split the perspectives from following one character and following another character. Massive spoiler add when gabriel and karyks Homeworld are destroyed neither of them are connected with each other so they no longer can talk to each other. And while there isn't a bad thing. The bad part is that they get separated into 2. Totally different story pads. And they don't even talk to each other about it. Sometimes because they can't, and that wouldn't be bad in itself. If we didn't hear them, Talk to each other for 200 plus Chapters, and you Know that it's going in a Bad direction for both of them. The authors literally setting them up to go from being a person whose soul was essentially split in 2 by with different personalities. If that makes sense to 2 people who are going to be at each other's throats, because they'll have not only differing opinions but different outlooks on. How the world should proceed. And while that wouldn't be a bad thing, I'm just saying that after 200 plus chapters of the suspense of wondering, when they're finally gonna talk to each other, or when they're finally gonna meet up, it drags onto a point where I just can't be bothered. Anymor and that's no fault of the author it's probably a fault of my own simply because I want them to talk immediately. I want the climax to happened right away, but that's because the author keeps laying down points in the story where the climax can happen at any time, but then it just passes away and it gets really annoying..

The novel would probably be a lot better. If the translation team or even the author himself didn't make a book all about China and then decide to make all the names American, it makes it so hard to read when you're reading american names spoken in a way like their Chinese. If that makes any sense you know constantly saying, you're last named to introduce yourself or constantly saying your full name whenever you're talking to someone, which is something no one does if they speak English, not even the British are as backwards as could be. But my main problem with this novel is that the person who posted this on webnovel has straight up stolen it. He is in no way connected with the author or the translation team who made this novel and has instead just pirated it from a translation site and then Post it on web novel. And I don't know how it's not been taken down yet. I've seen plenty of other people comment about it as well. So it's kind of odd that webnovel just hasn't done anything. I understand why you would say the novel seems forced. But I feel like I didn't really pick up on a lot of the reasonings behind. Why are men? Character is so lax about everything.. it's revealed multiple times that there are many generations for as long as people can remember almost every inheritor of the magi bloodline Is pacifistic either by choice or force when it comes to the other magi. It makes a lot of sense that our main character doesn't really have ambition to strive for anything more. Because he doesn't know what's out there. He's a clueless 18 year old at the start of the novel. Who realized he has great powers or supposedly. Because he doesn't even know what he can do. Because for all he's known. Every person who was like him was supposedly evil. and what else would you do if you're 18 and in a crime family trying to make a living to get by well if you find out that your power can be used to make money. By duplicating it essentially, that's what you're going to do. and that really sets the tone for our main character's personality. he isn't someone with great ambition or someone who needs to do everything in the world. He's someone who needs to enjoy himself. And unfortunately, that doesn't include becoming the most Powerful person in the world as quickly as you can. you very clearly wants to enjoy himself. And after becoming a demon, it's entered at multiple times that he is at least somewhat influenced through his soul. Even if it doesn't heavily. the main reason being. Lie is more sexual side. Comes out when it comes to teasing the witches. Or even as lovers. Sure, some of the innuendoes can get a bit odd because you don't know if they're talking about something strictly magic related. Or if it's a sexual in your window. Disguise behind magic talk. But honestly, if you think about it as a sexual in your window, then it's gonna be a sexual in your window, but if you think about it as magic. This novel is amazing and I beg you to give it a try Even if you don't think it will really be your style. Because it very quickly draws you in with the character's personalities and the fact that not everyone's one-dimensional. In this story, characters grow characters learn and it creates a cohesive environment to the novel.overall. I really can't find anything problematic with this story. all I can say is that it's a bit slow. But that's only if you're reading it on a daily basis. And even if you don't pick up on all the clues, the author gives you about why the war started or the reasons for the draft. Who has none of that pacifism in him but is still very clearly a magi Mentally wise it makes sense why some of the story seems almost A bit Flamboyantly with why something's happened Where's no real preemptive reasoning or almost twisted? Logic behind something it all makes sense. you've actually realized that even though army and character isn't bound by the past ofism that most of his Heritage was, he mentally carries the aura of someone who is not necessarily above worldly issues, but they're not. His most forefront problem. throughout the whole story. We realized that the main character's focus is first and foremost. His family, friends, or in more cases than not,some random person that he took a liking to. Honestly, I don't properly know how to describe the story without spoiling large bits of it. Because the author is very subtle with a lot of the background hints on why something's happening. I've only read this story once through up until chapter 660 for now, and I'm probably gonna give it a break for a couple months so I can get some more chapters than when I come back. I'm gonna read the whole thing. Because this is a novel that's experience is so unique that reading it multiple times is definitely gonna be on my priority list.

Overall the novels pretty mediocre. I would say it be and all right. Read at least if the quality of the writing was better. and I don't mean storywise. I mean, the literal, grammar and spelling of the words and even the way the sentences are structured is all over the place. at times it seems like it's a native English speaker writing the novel and at other times it feels like someone. Put the novel through translation about 3 or 4 times and then went with whatever the final result was with no proofreading. I like the concept that the main character is already in there. Quote unquote overpowered era comma and we don't go through ten years of Building up power. I can't be sure though because I stopped reading so I don't know if his past has ever properly explained. Or if anything really explained when it comes to the past. But Hey, that just adds to the mystery of the character right, well. It would if the writing was good enough that you could understand what the author means.

It's a surprisingly good novel. I was expecting it to be a very Please share a system novel that doesn't add anything to itself. I was very happily surprised when reading this that it Took multiple different twists and turns and hardly followed cliche's period I can't recommend this book enough and honestly if it had even more chapters. I would love it even more. But now I have to sit here and wait. 3 or 4 months so I can get a good stock pile to start reading. And it's gonna be torturous, but it's worth it.

he dosent progress past journeyman for over 4.5k chapters after he reaches it. I don't care what type of novel you write, if your mc makes no major leaps in "power" for 4.5 thousand chapters there's no reason to read. if this was a pure space opera instead of a system novel I'd agree but the author includes a system tag yet writes out. seems scummy to me
