The first sixty chapters were fine, but after that, the translation went downhill. They couldn't even make the cultivation realms consistent. The story is becoming more boring. It was the first time I saw an author scrapping and reintroducing ideas as I read the novel. The chat group is meh. They were easily surpassed. The chat group even changed his system to become easier cause the author thought it was too limited until he realized that he gave too much options and decided to limit it again by increasing the mcs cultivation making him unable to use it unless he leaves the continent. The author keeps using extreme ideas to replace his previous one.

I meant 58 chapters not 60.

Translation problems, not the author's fault

also, the author didn't limit it so it wouldn't work unless he left the continent, he needed a higher grade spiritual stone. Also, I think it was explained fairly well in the novel, I don't know what made you think he scrapped his previous ideas, only to replace them with more "extreme" one's?

You just contradicted yourself. The author did not limit it, but after he increased his realm, he now needed spiritual stones that do not exist in the current continent. "Explained fairly well." First system setting has a limitation where it's price keeps increasing with each use then the author introduced "group system benefits" that removed the increasing price limit to then temporarily make it unusable again since middle spirit stones in that continent do not exist or, optimistically, their is barely any. Remember what led to that? The Mc wanted to use free simulations to achieve the best path in his paid simulations from now on until suddenly a group task happened and that plan was scrapped cause "free simulations are too valuable in group task" so he chose an upgrade where he could more or less easily use it in the group task (lol). Now, what about the middle spirit stones? The Mc hit a bottleneck in his cultivation and has to use different methods to break the barrier and even check out the mysteries of the continent using the system and exploring different possibilities? Nope, he can't do that he so gets that trinket that helps him break through. Oh, what is this? His new level just made him unable to simulate unless he uses mid spirit stones, which barely or maybe doesn't exist in the continent. Now the Mc even thought about going to the other continent.

Well, then, in that case, other than those op from the start novels, all authors limit their MCs. He already reached the limit that could be reached in that resource deprived region. He wouldn't even be able to reach that level if it weren't for his golden finger if he cultivated normally. Also, if it weren't for the adjustment, the price would have even been more astronomical.

I finished reading the raws after a week. It was a good story. The author really did a good job. Even though he was forced to end it at chapter 327 because of health problems. While I was expecting it to end soon, the way he wrote it didn't seem like it was rushed because it was a plausible possibility. The thing I liked the most about this novel was the plot, and how the author could always come up with ideas for simulations. Unfortunately the author is bad at fight scenes, but to be honest I didn't realize that until around chapter 260, because even if he can't write detailed blood-pumping fight scenes, and it's more like a general summary, the plot of the novel itself is great enough. To be honest, I usually hate romance in these novels, and I remember being annoyed when Wang Ping kept marrying and dying in simulations because of that in the first few chapters. But still, after Ji Bingyue and Xue'er were introduced and became Wang Ping's partner in those specific simulations. Because of the impact they played I liked their characters and I always wondered if he would choose them as a partner. Though that hope was killed when the truth about Ji Bingyan was revealed. The ending was okay. It ties in with the start but I feel kind of sad that it showed him alone rather than with friends/family or a partner.Though it ends at chapter 327 don't think it's short. Most of the authors chapters are 10k words long so it's actually not a quick novel to finish. I checked Qidian and it says the novel has 2.157 million words. According to the last authors note, the author said he originally wanted to write 5 million words, but because of health complications he was forced to end it and choose his health over making money which I approve of. Especially since the ending just skipped other things that just just extend word count, and only wrote the important plot.
