I can’t say I’m the type of person to leave reviews at all but I’ve made an exception today and first things first I absolutely adore smart authors, and the reason for this is simple the mc will be just as smart as the author is and we all know a smart mc ALWAYS means a much better story. Now this mc is most definitely not on reverend insanity level smartness or anything like that but this is a fanfic you shouldn’t even expect something like that. For a Naruto fanfic this is definitely within my top 10, I’ve always loved the ability to devour things in anything I’ve read or watched even though user always becomes stupidly OP, that hasn’t happened in this series just yet but still. Either way this a good Naruto fanfic and if you’re looking for something to read that has some pretty good quality then this is for you!!! I’m currently at chapter 30 out of 90 and I’m not looking forward to catching up. Wish there were way more chapters… I’m looking forward to what you will do with this story author and I’ll be here the whole way unless you do something crazy with the mc girls… but you wouldn’t do that now would you?

Well I went back to the synopsis and found out this is actually a MTL translation not the posters original work. Either way I know how bad translations can be and the person who posted this has done a very good job sorting through and fixing the nonsense that is MTL. Great job to the translator!!!

Honestly, the story started off well, but went downhill once the mc entered the academy. Here are a few problems. 1 Some rules of the setting change slightly to resemble those found in cultivation novels, such as the rules with the clans in the village. I'm thinking about something specific here in my mind, but it perfectly encapsulates the problem with low quality chinese naruto fanfics, where random xianxia logic and terms are inserted into otherwise unrelated worlds. 2 The potential harem, as well as forced simping. What I mean by that, is that the author is constantly making other characters and even the narration itself praise the main character. And his slight romance/harem seeking doesn't fit in with what his apparent goal is. Unless the (reminding you, chinese) author is actually competent and this is an elaborate scheme to get the hyuga bloodline, this is written purely to get all the coomers happy, the author being one of those very same coomers.

was good until chunin exams. after that went way to dark for my taste. and ive always hated chiense novels that always use the trope of a hidden idenity through clones with naruto fanfics. its always delves more into what his clones are doing or his alter ego is doing than what the mc is actually doing.

Well translated and the translator removed random Chinese novel nonsense or at least tries. The story is meh it had a good start and starting losing momentum

You won't enjoy this novel if you think too deeply or look too closely to some on the chinese troupes present but if you read it like a xianxia book, frequently skimming unsavory and wordy parts and just reading for the plot developement then its really interesting. I dropped this novel twice and it was the third time i stick it until the latest chapter. - [PS: Thank you to TL for doing what you can to reduce the cliche and general chineness of it]
