I‘m just giving 1* for the obvious homophobia but even when u skim over that part the novel isnt that good. There are often grammer or logic errors like a man stabbing a child in the stomach which you would have to lean down for. Him helping a girl get sold into slavery being moral and also the part where he says that a day and a night equate to 24hours, 1440 minutes and 86400 seconds are errors that could be fixed by prof reading at least once or writing the novel in your first language. Then theres also this weird American hate in the first chapter idk why seems a bit unnecessary tbh i dont like joe bidon but saying a whole country is flawed is pretty extreme. Over all if u are like hohophobe or can gloss over chapter 8 and the obvious writing mistakes go for it.
