This is good quality writing but with an unlikable mc. He's reckless and foolish and makes the same mistakes over and over again. Short sided and rash. Makes me honestly root for the villain lol. Other than that however. I'm just not the biggest fan of "hero" mcs who have to face the villains alone and somehow win with sheer plot armor. I can understand that the mc's recklessness is a chance for character growth but that just seems a little too little a little too late where I am in the novel. Plus character flaws are a balancing act between likability (characteristics that we want our mc to have and admire) versus growth potential (characteristics we can relate to and enjoy seeing the mc improve in) and this author chose the growth potential too lopsidedly.

Thank you for the review. I like my MCs to make a lot of mistakes and learn from them. My MCs aren't overpowered or super smart like Lord Momonga Or Light Yagami, they are like Subaru. Characters who are overpowered or super smart from the start do not excite me that much, so I like to make them learn from their mistakes. Sometimes, it takes a few chapters, and sometimes a few volumes. But the end result feels satisfying to me. Anyway, thank you for reading and appreciating my writing skills. And of course, thanks for the honest criticism as well.
