Not all of us like that the plot only moves the system. So stop crying and accept that we don't all have the same tastes, I had to read this nonsense so I'll leave my opinion for wasted time.

You don't have to like it, but you shouldn't call him a slave to the system if the system isn't actually forcing him to do anything. Someone is a slave to the system when it gives quests that are like "Do X. Reward for success: Y. Punishment for failure: Z." and they can't choose whether or not to accept the quest in the first place.

I want to add to your comment about systems. ←→The Slave System will forcefully assign "mission", that: has miniscule rewards, enormous punishment for failure and for declining the "mission". ←→On the other hand, some Systems just give the user the most PROBABLE conclusion for his actions, painting them as "punishments".

I usually find stories that do those types of quests stupid. Because it totally disregards the variation in what path the MC might take to complete the quest.Like, I remember a Percy Jackson fic where the quest was "Get to Camp Half-Blood." The reward was "Safety at Camp" and the punishment was "Get killed by monsters."My thoughts were "What if he delays long enough that Camp is being invaded by Titan forces by the time he gets there? How will the reward play out then? Will the system make him invincible from attacks when he is there? "And what if he comes up with an alternate solution to going to Camp Half-Blood, like asking to be turned into a girl and join Artemis's Hunters or going to Camp Jupiter or going to Olympus to ask for help from his parent and so on? How will the punishment play out then? Will the system send Typhon to kill him just so that he is definitely killed by monsters?"This is just one example, but I feel like all stories that do quests like that can be taken apart like that. The only reason they work is because the author writes the MC taking the actions that would lead to them getting the reward or punishment for the quest they also wrote.
