His review has been here for nearly 2 months, do you really think I didn't delete it only because I didn't notice it? Everyone can share their opinion of my book as long as it's not insulting or offensive, even if their opinion is negative. I firmly believe in the value of my own creation, and I thank the fans who have been sticking around and reading my novel despite the slower pace at the beginning. If you want my response to the comment, then the first volume does not have any life-and-death situations until chapter 24 where the action begins, but it's full of power system building for those who are not familiar with the Chinese cultivation world, and we get to know the main character's circumstances, growth as a child, and personality. After the first volume, the story has action, scheming, and more. My book contains 0 fillers, every chapter has plot progression, and I do my best to make the story as interesting as I can.

i disagree. after reading 2 volumes, i like that the author doesn't like wasting time, Ken has quick progression (almost too quick), every volume is around 30 chapters. Every volume either starts a new plot point or wraps up an old one (from what I've read so far). The story is rather fast paced and majority of the first volume is dedicated to establish ken's character. Its solid writing.

I agree that the first 28 chapters can seem slow but at the end of the day most good stories are like that due to having to set up the world building and characters so I feel it is overly harsh to judge this story by just those chapters but sadly due to the premium system I cannot begrudge a reader doing so...😅 Anyway I kept reading on and can vouch that the second arc has a lot more action and progress 👍 MC's development as a manipulative savant is to my liking so maybe use some powerstones to read a little bit further 😉
