can anyone make a proper review and not just praise it?

very confusing as the first chapter introduced a god level power that can kill everyone, thousands sacrificed themselves to trap him in a samsara (rebirth circle)next we see his most recent life where he is the lord of the underworld killed by his detective brother. He keeps his memories (supposedly)and is reborn in another more miserable life. As a beaten to death slave his system activates kicks in saving him, and he gets a powerful magic grimore. Now he begins leveling up killing monsters and humans. eventually realizes that he needs to look out for himself and starts acting like an overlord, add #antihero.leveling continues as he fights to get stronger and the world tries to kill him.hmmm more of a synopsis than a review but I'm not endeared to the story.

review coming up:if you're looking for something well written like 'I am the villian' or 'dukes eldest son escaped to the military', novels where the mc has normal human motives and thought processes while incorporating a not overly intrusive 'system', then look else because this novel is all the typical isekai and reincarnator tropes thrown into a blender. First, the MC has no defining personality and changes arbitrarily depending on the situation, not to mention that his perception of concepts and events are at odds with his backstory (fully grown man, reincarnated and keeps his memories yet acts like an adolescent)Next, the story writing and pacing lacks any tension build up or resolution. The fights and trials are uninvolved and lack any emotional payoff at the end. Details and subplots are introduced that do not add anything meaningful to the story and more often then not showcase the dissonance between how the MC should act (considering his backstory) and how he does (cringelord).Final note: 3/10. Not worth the read but hopefully the writer learns from this project and improves his next work.

Like that’s what I’m looking for before I commit I mean a proper review doesn’t have to be a bad review

GlaringError here! As I have already mentioned in my author review I am restating it here since I am getting tons of comments about it, that I am more of a reader myself than a writer, I made this novel in an attempt to capture my fantasy world residing in my mind into words.. Writing is new for me.. The premise of my novel is inspired by many great works that I have loved over the years. And some elements I have in my novel that are slightly similar to them but it's just the skeleton of it, the real meat of the plot is entirely my own cooking. Some of the influence that is more noticeable is from The Runesmith (By Kuropon), The King's Avatar (By Butterfly Blue) and Shadow Slave (By Guiltythree). I have immense respect for these legends and I can only hope to follow in their footsteps. To all those who comment just by judging the name, at least give it a chance before letting your opinions be known. Thank you.
