You should avoid the walls of text, that's a great reason not to read a fic. You should add the harry potter tag. As for the system, as long as it sticks to the world of Harry Potter, not having a shop, porridge or anything like that, it can work well.

I can definitely work on romance and I work on not having a wall of text ill try to add more conversations.

very good anyway you have time to develop the romance after all the characters are 11 years old, so as long as you make the friendship and progress well until you reach some romance it can work out, after all it would be acceptable for them to start that type of relationship like in 3 or 4 years

I have a pretty free schedule for the next few months so I'll try to keep updating at least once a day if not more.

My advice would be dont do polls and just write what you find interesting or what you'd want to read. Otherwise you may end up writing something you don't enjoy and get burnt out on it quicker

That's fair. I'm just looking for a little more direction on where to take the story since Harry potter has so many fanfictions already
