So ive just finished chapter 191, and think this is a good milestone to write a review for the people who are unsure if they should give this a try (been there before). First things first, even though i really like this FF, i will try to remain objective and unbiased. First and foremost the story: The story of this FF is similar to the many others about GoT, but vastly different and original at the same time. Going into the early chapters, most FF often already reveal a clear outline and make it easy to guess what is going to happen later on, but even though this one really didnt for many things that transpire throughout the story, I personally found myself surprised and wanting more and more after certain events and the many epic fights/revelations. Also is the premise of the MC being part of the Reach, as well as establishing a completely new teritorry for himself, something ive not read in GoT FF before, and this also was portrayed in a way i would describe as realistic yet interesting. The Characters: Its GoT, so we have heaps of interesting persona´s, but also many original characters as well as originally dead ones from the story, which spice things up just the right way. I dont like it when this becomes too much and threatens to make a FF into something too different from the original, but for me personally that was definetly not the case here. Writing: No matter how good or interesting a story is, if the writing and especially its grammar is not up to the task, it often becomes unreadable and a waste of time and braincells. Fortunately that also wasnt a problem here. Although there are some minor mistakes here and there, it is mainly written in a good and coherent way, throughout the whole story so far. Now away from the webnovel criteria. The story and the MC are really interesting and the author manages to portray a vivid world with real dangers and difficulties to overcome. The MC often shows his wit and how capable he becomes, but make no mistake, not everything is solved easily or without effort. Although he becomes a superhuman (albeit not immersion breaking, as he can about beat a couple dozen soldiers on his own before collapsing from overusing his powers), in his first fights he actually just struggles to survive in any way possible. The romance is realistic and fortunately not rushed but slowly built over time, and while making allies/enemies, the MC actually thinks about his own benefits before committing to one side, or only does that partially (the comitting). Overall i still dont understand how some trash FF get 5 stars over and over (i guess bots), and some get seemingly bad reviews, but i can definetly say i really enjoy this FF up to this point and recommend reading it. Also if u have similar ones i would like to know them. Peace out

This story is different from the last 10 got fanfics I remember checking out. Different family start, different path (Really liked the idea of him being a... What was the word again? Basically his rank lowers to a night with the mission of conquering new territory) and a well-written story. Nothing stale here. Bullet points. No harem. The romance isn't instant. There are plenty of battles, exciting action, and well written fights. Good tactics. No cringe. No edge lord. It isn't a "High IQ" evil mc, but he is a smart cookie. He doesn't make stupid choices that make you question how. There's a system but it's super lite (Can't stand scrolling over system info. All told there is maybe 100 words of system info in this entire story.) It has some fun reputation-building. And is a fun story overall. He doesn't start an industrial revolution or bring farming techniques to the land like a hundred other fanfics have calling it the story. Writing Quality - 5. Very well written. Noticed no mistakes. The flow was never interrupted (Except for one chapter where he tried chatgpt. Author and readers agreed it didn't work lol) Stability of Updates - 4. This is a lot of story for around 4 months of writing. Only way to get a 5 from is a finished story. So it's the next best score. Story Development - 5. Love the story. Simple as. Can't wait to read more and I suggest you try it. Character Design - 5. Story and plot are linked with the characters. So for the same reason as above it's 5. They are well-written and serve the story well. World Background - 5. It's clearly GOT. But also the author knows it well enough to add extra info for people who aren't knowledgable. Should be approachable for people who aren't GOT fanatics too. The total score 4.8
