This book is a must read if your tried of the harem and white knighted hero garbage. One thing to note is that this book is vastly different from authors others books, the mc is by circumstance thrust into a situation where he has no option but to be evil to stay alive so expect cruel stuff not for the faint of heart. No poison

a real evil MC does not go about justify their acts,but he wants to do so he will do it.acting to overarching goal survive,so harem and romance and friendship building,would be against that.
Endless_Voids:It might be too early to say it has no poison however lets hope that the author does not add any harem/romance and this turns out to be a real evil mc.

this is what I call "lack of experience" and you seriously get matched with this, just as your name just read "reverend insanity" and you'll really know what "evil" actually is where villain retirement is also in the evil category, Riley isn't actually evil, he is more being empathy and sympathy less he is like a child that only cares about playing with his toys or else throws a tantrum but still tho, it actually good and if you read R.I. then you will seriously question the writing skill of almost 90% writers in this platform and many others

Except Reverend Insanity, Soul of Negary and Renegade Immortal all the remaining are harem and too cliche.Simply not dark enough.Only these three are good.

There is a new book called " how to be a Demon Lord" you can try that . Another one I recommend villain retirement . There is also sin system but that one is discontinued .

Not really, I'm guessing you saw the tags from novelupdates and believed it. The fated villain is harem, not romance (this novel is the precursor of every "transmigrated villain" or "stealing protagonist opportunities" out there, so if you know what I mean by harem but not romance). Warlock of the magus world isn't harem at all, it doesn't even have romance. Age of Adept actually has a little of romance and the mc has two wives but it's far from what the story is about. Power and Wealth contains romance but it's because the romance becomes a mean to an end (like the "romance" in reverend insanity, it's more like seduction to achieve goals). Ascending the Heavens as an Evil God doesn't have romance nor harem. You cannot afford to offend my woman yeah, it's harem and a pretty bad novel even though the mc is evil ngl, it's not a novel I would read again but maybe someone likes it. And death sutra and green skin has nothing to do with romance or harem. About the cliche stuff, I guess all the novels I said has cliche here and there, it's kind of inevitable, but if someone is looking for something to read I recommend all those novels, still not everyone will like each of them. Well, I read them, not on novelupdates but real chaps and stopped them because nor dark enough or too much cliche or weird romance.
