Unfortunately, although the author has done well in terms of readability, it comes off a little boring and childish, I was hard pushed getting to chapter 16. Also, I know this may seam a little biased but I also hated Oscar in the orignal, it put me off when he was added, especially when I know what will happen. Eventually if he stays for the long run, we will get wasted chapters of his life and love story and in all honesty, I couldn’t care less of side characters. I also think the blooming relationship between MC and Yin is a little early, there 6 for crying out loud. Anyway, all the best Author, hope it all works out 👍🏻.

Unfortunately, he falls into a couple of character types which are an instant put off. He is practically a beta and he does nothing but Simp throughout the story. But… don’t take my word for it, there is plenty of people who love his character. PS. I also dropped Soul Land, so he may have improved.

nope Oscar is basically a stagnant character he is basically the same from beginning to the end (he could even be seen as a coward who relies purely on Tang San to achieve his goals)
