Got too cringey and absurd to read and had to drop. Even when compared to the generic absurd stuff we see in Chinese mass produced imitation light novels in this platform (there are also original and generic professional/amateur Chinese novels that are awesome), it is more cringy and absurd. Oververly optimistic cliche plot, face-slapping, absurd OP system, China-first propaganda/patriotism/heroism, it has it all those stuff. It is even more absurd and cringing because author chose the world build as a parallel modern world, with modern firearms, vehicles and battle tactics, so the illogical things, plotholes and cartoonish stupidity stands out more.It definitely doesn't deserve the high rating of almost five star everyone gave it. I rated it a little low to balance the rating. It should be 3.5 best.Please people have a little standard while rating. Because best you can say about this novel is passable or good. There are excellent and unique works out there so how would you rate them if you rate this five star?!! Giving an average work full mark is not being kind and encouraging to the author. It is being dishonest, potentially wasting people's time/money/expectations and it also does harm to the author because an honest review and criticism can help them grow and keep their head in reality.

I don't think it would be completely fair to refer to other books in a review of a book. Also what I think good might not be what you might like my friend. So I will be careful and only refer to one book that I am quite confident of being good quality. That way there would be less damage done and I can be confident of not being a hypocrite by much, also don't completely ignore your request my friend đ . "Humanity's greatest mecha warrior system" by Aoki_aku. That book is well written.

A Great Book, but I dropped after the female lead got most of her body destroyed to cover her teammates retreat on that planetary war. My poor heart canât handle that.

Though temporarily tragic but it made that story more realistic. Sometimes life gives us situations that calls for hardships and sacrifices. She did what was required of her at that situation and the male lead also led the rest of the troops out as it was required of him, being the one in charge.Things got better. She didn't die and bounced back better than ever. They even became a couple later.

I agree, it makes the story realistic. But I read them to escape from reality, so I donât really like it, if it gets overly realistic. And itâs good that they became a couple. I loved their synergy.
