The female lead’s character is so pathetic. With the 20 chapters, one can read that she has been subjected to countless humiliation bu her family and fiance and she still lingered on. Then she subjected herself to more humiliation by having a tryst with the Uncle. When does being a bed partner something one can expect to be respected. Haist! What a lousy story plot.

I may just do something as crazy as she did. the caveat is that she actually enjoyed the bedroom play. And got her revenge at the same time.

We are so used of OP female lead that sometime we forget that they can have a different beginning. At the moment I feel like she is a bit normal and she will eventually grow up in her thinking. I’m in the first few chapters so idk if my opinion will change later 😂😂.

This is actually really interesting! The revenge of the FL, the black-bellied nature of the ML and the long-term manipulations of the 🪷 antagonist are utterly engaging. This is the first work in two weeks that is ACTUALLY original and interesting. I have no idea how the plot is going to turn out. I hope this one gets “Picked” and I can keep reading!

This book has a really great story, good character development BUT is an incomplete story, lots left unfinished and after a slow build up and abrupt end as though the author could not or decided not to continue. Hopefully we get an update that this is Book 1 of a series or something but otherwise read at the risk of feeling frustrated at the end. Really hope there is some update as this was one of the few stories that I felt unique and worth spending extra on.

OK so is the story interesting…maybe. After 100 slooowly released chapters the FL, who keeps telling herself she’s doing everything for revenge, has been humiliated and almost killed multiple times. But when she has the chance to get help in her endeavors she continues to lie everyone and demean herself to the point that everyone thinks she’s scum. I really can’t read this anymore. Revenge of the underdog FL is an interesting plot-line, but it’s too discouragingly depressing when that FL lacks moral character and doesn’t even respect herself and her own life. I keep waiting for a plot change that lines up with the published synopsis, but I’m too miserable to wait for it anymore while reading the one chapter a day release. Maybe if I remember, I’ll come back to this story when it’s complete so I can get through the “vengeful” self-flagellating FL’s part of the story faster… But then again, maybe I won’t.🤷🏼‍♀️ There are other books out there that are just as interesting and won’t depress me.

THIS IS NOT COMPLETE!! While I was enjoying to story, this story stops abruptly, so even if we spent our coins and fast passes, we will never know the ending. There is no closure. The actual Chinese novel is much, much longer. I wish this app would do a better job in either ensuring novels are completely translated or are marked as dropped instead of complete.
