Not really the type of story that I would enjoy. The 'system' is more of a minor cheat that offers a method to completely comprehend written techniques. It only allows the MC to learn techniques that are written down, drawn, or have some sort of visual que left over. Possibly sword scars would work. It does not allow him to learn techniques from watching someone perform it at least not so far. Explanations and lectures are also out. As far as it being a system, he gets a system window that gives him a record of his techniques and cultivation level. There is no menus or store functions. There is no interaction with it either except when he is able to merge two techiques. So I would just call it a cheat with a visual que. As for story development it starts with the MC captured by bandits and fortunately finds some sort of scribbling on the wall of his cell that provides him a couple of low level techniques. This allows him to slowly overcome the bandits by luring individuals to the prison. The story seems to be about how the MC is trying to acquire more techniques or higher level techniques. He goes to bookstores looking for books that will trigger his progress bar. He finds a woman with a tattoo that triggers it as well. I ended up skimming through it because it just did not excite me much. There did not seem to be much draw mentally for me.

I honestly enjoyed it, it wasn't overpowering with plot holes at every turn like the other similarly titled novel. I felt a calm atmosphere but as if something was moving under the surface. I don't know if it's because I was reading it with "Nightcore Demon Mode [LV] /Weeb like me" as the BGM. Just to clarify, I don't speak English, I don't know what the song means. I just like the beat.

At first I was really enjoying the story, but later the MC feels more like a puppet of a guy named Mu. all the things have been planned by that guy and Mc has no control over it. Even now, he has to follow his scheme willingly. It's the most useless MC I have ever read about

Honest reviews are here.. When I saw "Unparalleled Comprehensive" in the novel title, I was hype like, "This novel going to had OP MC".. Because I like OP MC.. But it is not.. It not OP MC.. To comprehend the technique, MC needs to stare/watch it for a period of time.. The stronger the skills, the longer the duration MC needs to watch that person/item within the short range.. For example, MC needs to watch a person for two days to comprehend a rank 2 technique (2nd weakest) and that IF ONLY MC continue watching it for 2 days straight but how can MC continue to watch an unfamiliar person for the whole two days within short range without stop? At most, you can only spend a few hours on that person, and it will take like a week to get that skill.. Even worse, those skills are not strong skills. MC also didn't know anything about skills he comprehended until the system was complete and announced it.. So, it kind of gambles and is a waste of time to spend using it on a person. It is much better or less risky to use it on others things like books, walls and so on.. Grade 9 cultivator is lowest grade, and grade 1 cultivator is highest grade, while rank 1 skill is the weakest rank and rank 9 is highest rank.. It kinda weird that you flip it one level 9 are weakest while other level 9 are the strongest. As you also read many others' novels, you might get confused.. For example, MC suddenly gets rank 3 techniques, and you are like, "Wait, is it high rank or lower rank?" When the author mentioned that MC is martial art grade 9, I was like,"ok, MC almost break thru to others realm." The author DID NOT TOLD US at all about it until we figure out ourselves when MC tries to learn strong skill to break thru into martial art grade 8.. MC speed of cultivation can be said as slow because he needs to find strong cultivation techniques, which is the author making it hard/nearly impossible for MC to find one..

The author keeps changing the names of people , techniques, sects and other official divisions Its a translation thing, not a grammatical thing but still makes it hard for an immersive experience Just fix the translation and its an easy five star novel
