This novel is solid, But it could be better. I reminds me of "Library of Heaven's Path", were every time the MC breathes or takes a step someone misinterprets what they did. I've read up to the conclusion of the first monster tide and I feel like honestly there were plots presented just to be stumbling blocks and not really anything else. Was is necessary that when he's trying to get the group together to make the items they would need for the monster tide; that a wild 4th elder would just randomly show up when he should've been on the wall with everyone else, or the necessary 3-5 chapters needing to break down and get his help in doing what the MC needed...probably not...This is a repeating plot point and it gets a little predictable after a while. I hope to give an updated review after reading more chapters.

LIKEThat's common in stories like this, I think?... Stumbling blocks are meant to push the MC to their limits and lead to logical gradual power ups, right?Or who would prefer some BS power ups that's got no explanations? Definitely not me.And the author's been good with mass constant releases, which balances the pace of the story.Just mention HOW you want the book/author to do better... And they'd see if it's something they can work with.
I’m not sure if you’ve read the other recent reviews but if you did there are others who’ve said that due to the constant roadblocks, focus on developing basic skills (like forging), and over explanations for pretty much everything…that by the time you read Chapter 800 or so, only 1 month has passed since his reincarnation…that’s not really normal, but if you like reading the constant grind and explanation for everything then by all means this is for you. I was only alluding to the fact that not everything in the story needs to be an obstacle, also how is having an elder stop you from doing something an obstacle for you to surpass and grow? When you just explain what your gonna do and he’s like “Oh, cool…can I do anything?”…there’s no growth there…maybe for the side characters, but they’re not important…

800 chapters in and only a month or so has passed? I really wished I'd read this before I read 140 chapters. To think he's still an 8 year old after that many chapters is just a complete failure, so thank for the comment.
