This book is one of the best romance novel of this platform. However , i found myself forced to abandon it ( i don't really recall on which chapter , but it was definetly well past the 50 first chapters). First , here is why i think it's a good novel : - The characters are very much likable. The fl is such a nice and funny girl! The Ml - although enamored with the fl- doesn’t immediately open his heart to her , nor does he forget all of "her wrongdoings". He also isn't one of those "wife-slave" MLS. - The story , altough your common " fl working in the entertainment industry " trope , is still interesting . - The translation is well done ( i don't recall spotting any mistake ). - The pacing is right. - The updates are regular. For all these reasons , i fell in love with this book and decided to glimpse at the chapters ahead. And THIS is how i ended up disappointed. Now , let’s get down to the cons : - The story becomes annoying in the long run. As you already know , this book is tagged # face-slapping. However , did you know that literally every encounter with the original Ml and Fl results in a face-slapping ? It's just irritating in the end! And the stupidity of the antagonists is not helping( it's so glaring that the author only uses them to make the fl shine) either. "Thankfully", there's another intrigue ( which is also the main reason why i've stopped reading this book) : the Transmigration of the Mc and her brothers. Let me be clear , i do not hate Transmigrations. In fact , i even like it as long as the former host's soul is still inside the body( fusionned with the transmigrator's soul) or that the transmigrator doesn’t reveal that he / she is a transmigrator. However in this book , the fl revealed ( chapter 156 i think) that she's a transmigrator and that her third brother had transmigrated too( she met him there) to the Ml. But then what happened to her relationship with him ? Nothing ! And that's exactly the problem that i have with books in which the authors make their characters reveal that they are transmigrators. The Ml was so in love with the original host that he was even ready to set her free at some point( in the beginning of the book it was rather clear). Now tell me : How did this oh so loving man got past his lover's death instantly and accepted the fact that the soul in her body was no longer hers ? He should have been sad , lost or even better , he should have broken up with the fl. But in front of the magic of love ( The Ml hasn’t known the fl for long but they're so in love already! Duh!😒 So maybe he liked the host's body instead of her soul ?) , this "little " thing doesn’t matter. To me , this all feels wrong and unbelievable. If one wants his/her Mc to pose an action or reveal a secret , he/she MUST make him/her bear the consequences of that action( she can't reveal that she's a transmigrator and still live happily everafter with the Ml. The Ml loved the original host , not her. You can't just have them be together immediately as if nothing happened.). Plus what was even the point of doing this all ? It feels like the fl earased the existence of the original host ( she basically has her brothers with her. All she needs is her parents and she would basically be living the life she lived before transmigrating. Then what about the host ? It'd be as though she never existed in the first place). In fact , the author could have just replaced the "transmigration" by a "rebirth" or a "Transmigration with one's body"( just like in "i will seduce the grand duke") and it would have been all good. Just why go to such lengths when you could have done better since the beginning ? - The chapters are too short. There are so much chapters yet each chapter is barely 1k words. This all gives the impression that the translator is only milking the readers. All in all , this book could have been better. It's such a shame that the author's ideas were wrong since the beginning.
