just for the prologue I want to give 1 star, because there was the dragon dance? because Westero society is sexist! reason 1 = Westero society is sexist! woman to sit on the iron throne is impossible for them reason 2 = the king only remarried because he was forced if he has an heir (male son) 99% chance of not remarrying. reason 3 = a son from a second marriage would never get the same support as aegon because reason 1 was too strong it split the kingdom in 2, you already have half of the loyal kingdom, and on top of that the son of the first marriage is a man, if aegon gets 10% of westeros he is an incredible genius in short: the mere existence of Mc changes at least 60% of the whole story, too much for you to want to write this without using your creativity The only way that would make Aegon viable would be assassination and that's all, the lords of Westeros are very serious about the line of succession, no one would support a coup. why would you go to war? is the king a tyrant? not is the heir a tyrant? not Are the benefits good enough to pick up a sword to fight a beast the size of a mountain? ...

Actually the westerosi society isn’t that sexist, they don’t won’t women on the throne becouse: 1. When they are pregnant they have serious emotional problems, and when you rule(have esentially absolute power) with unstable emotions you could execute like half of the court for no reason. 2. Women are physicly weaker than men and their society values strengh. All other reasons are viable.
well, many Targaryen men were not endowed with a healthy psyche. It's just that in 6 out of 7 queens there was a clear law of inheritance that the first son inherits after the father even if the father still has several daughters who are older than the son,
