The setting is based further away from Orario and has yet to reach the main timeline. It leaves open time for further exploration around the world and meeting of the various races. Most Danmachi fanfics I have read have usually been much too similar to each other (not complaining about others fanfics but when an original character enters Orario, they usually just go straight to Hestia or Loki to get caught up in the main events) so once I have read one, it feels like the next ones are very similar with just a slightly different character and power set. (Can I do better and make something unique? Probably not but I am trying to make something I enjoy writing and hopefully others will enjoy reading too)
I came across this fic a while back but still have not read it yet. I have been hesitant because from what I have seen, the MC has still not reached Orario yet. I understand that the story is based farther away and it is not the main time line yet. However, the fact that this fic has been out for over a year now and the MC has STILL not reached Orario yet baffles me and makes me not really want to read it. It just makes it seem unnecessarily slow.
