Thanks for writing this. I honestly still haven't gotten over the ending even though I watched it a few hours after release haha. It doesn't really help that I've had "I Really Want to Stay at Your House" on repeat. Good luck and looking forward to more chapters.

LIKEThe ending is sad but I loved it like that. It kinda makes it seem like the mc is IN a world and not the world IS the mc yaknow? It really shows that we were watching just a small group living out there own story like many others in the world. I dunno it just felt really organic (ironic lol) and just made that world really interesting. Still sad though...

Didn't really dislike the ending, just disliked the fact that it was avoidable with better communication and David learning from Maines mistakes. I'm pretty much over it now, but I doubt I ever rewatch it all the way through. Absolutely loved it, but the ending leaves you broken if you connect too much with the characters like I did lol.
If the characters dont commit mistakes nor are flawed, thats just bad writing
Once again, I said I didn't dislike the ending. I said I disliked that it was avoidable. I don't like it when people don't learn, and David watched Maine descend into cyberpsychosis and not tell anyone, and then he went and added a lot of chrome and did the same thing. You don't HAVE to make mistakes if you can learn from the mistakes of others. The communication part is another thing, and I don't really feel like typing it all out lol.
Ok
I think, what he meant was that it's typical for a good author to use flaws in the personality of their characters to make everyone think that the story is more realistic and alive. I mean, the most effective way to know if you are alive is to feel pain. that's why most people equate realistic to drama or dark story
