When the author said only marshal rank shadow soldiers can talk, in the original manhwa, all shadow soldiers can talk when Sung Jin-woo fully absorbs Ashborn's power. His personality is not the Sung Jin-woo I know. The shadow monarch is supposed to be the strongest of the nine monarchs. In this fanfic, it says that the eight monarchs are weakened because they can't find a strong vessel. In the original manhwa, only the shadow monarch and the monarch of destruction were weakened because they couldn't find a strong vessel because their power was too powerful. Because I don't know English, I type it into a grammar checker.

Honestly, butchering Sung Jinwoo's name in this novel, which version of his character goes up to random soul reapers and kills them for the sake of them being bullies? Also, why is the mc not preventing his parent(s) being hurt by the enemies with his shadows? He goes into random berserk moments for no other reason than "Oh so mad" Other than that, this book is being well written so far. Look away from the fact Sung Jinwoo is more or less the literal opposite of his character it's pretty decent.
