The MC is a guy who inherited and spent it all and died. The fact that the author thinks that this type of character will attract empathy is insanity. The vast majority of the population wants the useless heirs to die even faster.

LIKEThe whole reborn, reincarnated, transmigrated concepts being interlinked with karma are very much literary. In this case he is not reborn, but is regressed. Karma is an east Asian concept that is very much tied to their religions. There are many similar concepts such as judgement in other religions. In these e-stories that we read that use these concepts, they are not used in the same way that the concepts are originally intended. They are pulled from various sources and twisted to fit the author's needs. Don't miss use the concepts that you have learned by reading stories online, while thinking they are doctrine for how they are supposed to work. Also these concepts are very much metaphysical in nature, so while they are fun to read about and use in fantasies, they have no evidence of being real. Personally I like using these concepts in my very own 'fantasies' wishing that I could have some of the opportunities that occur in these stories. But even still, in my own 'fantasies' I try to put together something that is coherent and make sense.
if it's already metaphysical expect for it to not make sense. Plus talking about karma originated from east Asia, you know that different countries in EA has almost different meaning about karma right? karma in Hinduism is different from karma from Shintoism, daoism, Buddhism. Noticed I used almost in "almost different"? Because the only similarities between them is Karma has something to do with the actions, good and evil. As for what the results after accumulating too much, that differ depends on which beliefs.
there are no rules to reincarnation.
