Ignore me shamelessly reviewing my own novel. I had a question from you guys. Should I make Sawamura and Rei close or not? I was thinking of Rei and Chris as a battery. Miyuki later when Chris graduates. What do you think?

Well it's possible to have 5 pitchers in a team but the point is that they must all be first string players (the main team). That's why i said earlier aside from there's too many pitchers, there's also only 3 slots left for the first string. That's why it's hard to make a great DNA fanfiction especially a self insert pitcher since the team has only limited slots unless you want make it in another era like Rei same year with Yuuki, Chris and others (the 3rd years in original) or Rei same with Miyuki or Rei with another team. Adding a pitcher in the same year with Sawamura and Furuya will make the Seidou team full of pitchers but can't use all of them. Sawamura, Rei, Kawakami, Tanba (ace) and Furuya that's 5 pitchers and i don't know how will you distribute the playing time.

Death_Scythe:First, may i know what year did Rei join Seidou? i mean is he in the same year as Miyuki and Kuramochi or same as Sawamura and Furuya? because Chris only played during his first year and second year in Seidou after that he got injured.
then most likely it will be a mess since there's too many pitchers and also making a battery with Chris it means that Sawamura will practice with other catcher. There are only 3 catchers that are good catchers right now, they are Chris, Miyuki and Miyauchi and with 5 pitchers Rei, Sawamura, Furuya, Kawakami and Tanba i don't know how will you make it work. There's also Ono but Ono only improved after the Chris retired, that gave him opportunity to train with Sawamura that's why he's able to catch Sawamura and Furuya pitches in his 2nd year.

i mean you have no choice there since Miyuki will be the one who will be the main catcher. Chris is already injured and won't play in his last year, so i don't know how can you make a battery with him, the only time Rei can make battery with Chris are games in friendly matches or training. Unless you make Chris never got injured but that will make Miyuki as a reserve catcher since the main catcher can be only one. Also there's a thing about the first string, at the moment there are only 3 slots left originally that was taken by Sawamura, Furuya and Haruichi but since Rei (MC) is in Seidou you need to make an adjustment there. P.S Chris isn't in first string since he is injured.

Hoku_1:so Miyuki it is. about the first-string player, I'm thinking of taking out Sawamura. because if you think about it Haruichi is a batter, Furuya should definitely be in the 1st string. The only one left is Sawamura which Rei replaces. I'll make Sawamura come back in the 1st string later.

ah ha....I figured it out after intense research. One of the reserve players a no-name 3rd year will be injured and out then Sawamura can enter because there will be 4 openings. hahaha. I got it.

A perfect spot to slot an oc pitcher in seido is if he join Miyuki year.. *Blank 1st year period *Their year only notable pitcher is Kawakami Slotting him in sawamura year mean they have 3 pitcher (4 if you count toujo). Which is a waste of spot.. imagine you can only bring 18 player (spring kousien) and bringin 5 pitcher
ace of diamond is a gem but i wonder if you have seen major? if so would love to see the mc take the goro route
