Honestly his leg injury is just an excuse for the mc to carry his halberd everywhere

A leg injury that severe would cause so many issues in combat and overall mobility anyway. If that's seriously why he has an injury, all i can say is you have disabled your own writing for future scenes of action.

bro they are in berk a viking village, strapping a weapon onto the back or just carrying a weapon isn't really uncommon,so why made the mc a cripple?

… I’m glad I’ve dropped this but if you want to improve read some really good fanfic like cornbringers or something like that and see what they do and what makes readers want to read more and apply it to your fanfics and you might make a decent fanfic
