Here's the ACTUAL synopsis of the novel : --- Heaven and earth serves as the common residence of all living things, with time being the constant resident since the dawn of creation. As with the difference between dreaming and awakening, the distinction between life and death is unpredictable and cannot be determined. What awaits us beyond time, once we have transcended life and death, heaven and earth? --- Not sure why the Original Synopsis wasn't used and replaced by one that looked like it went through bad MTL, or why it's not translated as Beyond Time as many others did (sounds better than Outside of Time and isn't inaccurate, but anyway....). I imagine the Translator didn't have a hand in it. Using 3rd-rate synopsis, Outside of Time instead of Beyond Time(but former works too so more of an annoyance than anything) and a very generic Cover picture... can't say this gives a good first impression from the outside, tbh. A shame, as the content is so far quite good. Let's see where this goes, our dear site WebNovel... and good luck to the translator.

LIKEWell The Original Synopsis is great. It has a sense of mystery to it.. and i look forward to what author is going to deliver to us. But the Webnovel's Synopsis kinda Spoiled the Beginning. In my opinion If The God Part was introduced in the Story it would be Cool and Filled with suspence about the Background World.. when i first read it in Mtl i really was surprised and really looking forward to What is That "God's Face" in the sky related to.. and here idk if the Author Gave permission to Write The English Synopsis like that but They Just straight up Gave Out Mc's end Goal To Become a God to survive. Well for me If this was explained in the Novel as the story goes on i would really loved it. Its not that kind of big of a deal but i preferred the original Synopsis..
On the contrary, I'm actually not a fan of when authors pull synopses like that. Tells you practically nothing about the novel. I don’t get "mYsTerY" vibes, it just sounds like a scammer trying to sell something with vague words. Obviously, it's Er Gen in this case so we know that's not the case, but it still leaves a bad taste. Ideally, you could have the original synopsis and the one that the translator puts out (if the original is vague).
actually, that's the appeal of xianxia novels in general, to see weak mcs' progress to Godhood/Immortal...like that's the whole point of cultivating, I don't think the synopsis saying he has to become a God to survive gives away any plot points...

Well, hello. Sure but I'm not sure why comment this here since we do know and agree that those in er gen usually have context behind them and Synopsis Drops happen in the novel. That said, even if it wasn't er gen, my issue is that the actual synopsis is much better than a completely made up nonsensical one. I am aware of the "wow this synopsis is useless" meme and agree to it to an extent. But that's still better than a zero effort one. They even made up the so-called "quote", and the process of the journey. On top of it spoiled the premise in a way that could have been done with much more subtlety. But unfortunately they're no Deathblades in this regard I guess. The quality itself is literal MTL in any case, you're unironically better off reading the fan-edited mtl.

Are you really saying it's MTL quality? We're we reading the same book. Also frankly the original synopsis sounds more like one that MTL sounding like forced mystery by using vague words.
