That's fair, but I still disagree on Klein being a hypocrite. In the first place, it wasn't explicitly mentioned that Klein hated killing, but indeed, the impression was that he didn’t like killing people for no reason... and hey, he didn’t. He had ample reason to kill George, who had hurt many people, some that Klein personally knew. Considering the situation, it was also very likely that George would instantly be an enemy to Klein, which would mean another deity not on Klein's side. As for the war, that had little to do with him. It might be semantics, but the powers doing the killing are responsible for it, not anyone else. Klein didn't kill anyone, nor did it happen "because of him". It happened because greedy as*holes wanted more power, simple as that. I don't understand the creeping hunger logic. He's killing actual murderers and r*pists, which he never had an issue with, so not really against his character. Plus he had reason to do so, as not doing so would likely cause him to lose a very important artifact.
Indeed, going to delete the comment above.
Agreed, the author fixes this later on and MCs progress is more reasonable.
Fair enough man. There's still plenty of MUCH worse garbage out there. I don’t complain there because I can’t even stomach reading it. This is definitely good enough to read, but I still don’t think some of what the author forgets is reasonable. Plenty of authors with worse novels that still keep a better track of things. You're right that I could be kinder on the comments to the author though. The frustration in the moment makes you forget yourself sometimes.
Are you reading the same thing I am? Do you have any idea how many more resources the MC has than his grandfather? And how much higher the attribute room bonus is in comparison to a normal ship room? You also just grabbed a random premise from other novels and pushed it onto this one as a fact. I don’t care what's happening in your fantasy land and self insert; if the author hasn't explicitly stated that higher generic value makes it harder to breakthrough, then it doesn't. Moreover, in this world, having a higher genetic value actually increases the likelihood of breakthrough. And THAT is an established fact by the author.
You would be correct in this case. I misread this as them already having achieved Tenfold. That being said, I have plenty of reasonable complaints about this novel. It's actually because I do enjoy it and hate that it's being ruined by the author's forgetfulness and inconsistencies that I call out this frustration. And believe me, there's more of it to come. I've read ahead, and the author has a bit too many moments like that. Also, if you can't talk like a normal human being and have to resort to talking like a prepubescent child, then I'm going to reply in kind next time.
Just don't illogically drag it out
Really? Cause as far as I've been reading this story, quite a few random characters have Silver and even Gold items. Guess MC just encounters lucky people.
Great job forgetting your own premise for the item, author
Exactly, this makes no sense.
