I'm disappointed by this story. The author writes well and his drawing of maps, characters, etc... are really great. Unfortunately I just can't get into the story. I lasted a 100 chapters because the story is well written and had potential, but at some point, I can't go on. Minor problem: author tells us he created a religion but apart from the name of the god, it's 99% the Catholic Church. I'm sorry but priest might be a generic religious term bur Pope, Cardinal, Inquisitor and many more are not generic terms. Even the way they operate are so similar to the Catholic Church. Not something that bothered me, just saying. My main problem is the MC. He is a freaking robot with no emotions. His "friends" are tools and he tolerates his mother because she also treats him with love. I get he is old and an ex CIA agent but in 16 years, he never changes. He never treats anyone genuinely, it's always an act. He also has 0 goal. He goes through his life without ambition except keep living. Sure he is too involved with the Church to be permitted to leave alive but never he tells himself "if I'm freakingly strong they won't be able to stop me". He sees a lot of corruption, abuse or other evil done by the Church or Nobles and he still follows orders without remorse while telling himself "I'll get super strong and stop those things". Nope, he is a good little soldier following orders. We know he'll be the pope but so far it isn't his ambition. It's just something that'll happen because he us too talented. I don't care if he wants ti be a saint, evil or something between. I just want him to want to be someone.

Hmm... The religion is now the same. Catholic church has no Guardians of Light, Void Keepers, and Sanctum Council or stuff. It's just generic religion from any novel you might find. As for MC's ambitions and emotions. They are decently explored as the story goes. He's ex-CIA, it's his job to be pragmatic and not let emotions take over. It takes time to break that wall and trust people again. Also, if you dropped, then you dropped at the worst time. The Sphinx Village arc(Somewhere from 100 to 126) is all about MC deciding to actively go after the position of Pope by using any means possible. No standing by and following orders. He starts scheming and making long term plans to take over the entire continent. You need to understand that the way I write, the progress is supposed to be slow because characters are explored in detail. From Sir Dolorem to Felix, everyone has detailed past.

I Can Copy And Evolve Talents

Across the vast convolution of worlds, divine beings rule as absolute sovereigns—each god assigned dominion over a singular realm. Skirmishes are inevitable, whether for power, amusement, or sheer pettiness. One such battle, between Nexus, the God of Trickery, and an aging, senile deity, resulted in an anomaly… A soul misplaced. Elliot, an ordinary man, was never meant for Ul’Tra-el. But fate, or perhaps a cosmic prank, had other plans. Unlike other worlds, Ul’Tra-el is an aberration—one that developed a voice. A voice that diverged from the natural order. A voice that changed everything. Its foundation cracked, leaking dimensions into one another. Rifts tore open like festering wounds, vomiting forth unspeakable horrors—monsters not meant to exist. But the world did not sit idly by. In response—perhaps an act of self-preservation—the world gifted its inhabitants power. Talents awakened, granting people extraordinary abilities. And for every rift sealed, the Voice of Ul rewarded them generously. Survival was simple: fight, grow stronger, and close the rifts… or die trying. In this ruthless, blood-soaked reality, Northern—a white-haired boy burdened by his past life—was reincarnated. But unlike the chosen heroes, he awakened as a talentless nobody. No power. No strength. No future. And when death loomed over him—when despair clawed at his soul and the cold grip of the failure threatened to take him— A Voice responded: [System Notice] [Your Soul cannot take a form.] [Searching for a Unique Pattern Ability…] [Searching…] [Search Found.] [A Unique System Ability has been detected.] [You Can Copy And Evolve Talents] ... Follow Northern through his journey as he becomes the pinnacle of this world. This a story about a white-haired boy’s rise from rubbles!! Note: This is an overpower genre but MC does not just start off like that. Even though MC can copy talents he doesn't just jump around copying talents because there's a limitation. However, his rise to strength is depicted and is an experience to enjoy. The first few hundreds would be frustrating to follow because MC is weak but that makes the experience all the more interesting when MC finally gets freaking strong and starts wiping the floor with everyones asses.
