My first impression of this fanfic was good at first, but everything changed when he decided to join the marines to learn their techniques.He should have practiced his devil fruit abilities better instead of starting to learn new techniques. I fail to see how joining the marines is a bad thing, he can learn about them from the inside and he gets formal training in what he needs. Haki does develop in battle, but you still need a teacher to learn it at first.

No one would manage to learn haki in a short time by themselves, it would take actual decades, the only reason the straw hats learnt it in 2 years was cuz they had teachers. Enel wanted to get stronger before the war. These are things that were stated/hinted at in the story and ppl seem to be skipping over them. He needed to grow strong fast in both Haki and body strength for things to go smoothly at Marineford, and without a teacher, there is simply no possibility of growing stronger in such a short time.

The marines is actually good. I stopped reading when he BETRAYED the marines. Author shouldve took the advantage and use enel to build the navy's trust so in the end enel can strengthen and lead the navy to be against the world government and make the navy independent from the world governments commands.
And the ending should be all pirates,navies etc will form an alliance to break the world government and rebuild a much better one for the world!!

This story is doomed to have an eternal plot hole because of your lack of basic knowledge when it comes to haki. No offense I love this story I just want to uh murder your contradicting Mc.
