Average cliche one with non-chinese names but still uses the system of eastern novels. It irritates me seeing some words like "beta", "alpha", etc multiple times. I don't know but there are better ways to write than that. Everytime I saw these words, I could imagine in my prejudice that the author is a teenager without sophistication.

Hmm, I did a brief search in my archive, and these words appear less than 4 times in almost 800,000 words. Interesting how that became your main criticism.
I believe it's because it appeared too many times at the start of the novel and some people (me included) are already pregudiced against the whole "beta", "alpha", "sigma" mindset. The 1st time I could overlook it, the 2nd time I was annoyed and by the 3rd time in 6 chapters I decided to find something else to read as the frequency of it coming up didn't bode well for the rest of the novel. If its as you said it doesn't come up much in the rest of the chapters, I'll give it another read.

i also stopped reading it for this same reason it just irritated me to no end. maybe it's good for some others. so people who check reviews should read it before skipping the story. who knows. You might like it 😉
