Since it’s based in the 90s is one of the reasons why I want to read this! As a 90s kid I want to see how they interpret the 90s in their culture. We don’t get much exposure of other countries culture in that time. Now, in21st century it’s easy to experience it.

Review Until Chapter 40: The plot itself is good and pacing is quite fast. The story was told from a 6-years old Ji Yuanyuan, the FL. She has an upgradable space which she got from her previous life. This wasn’t explained well in how she got it. It was said it was due to a fortuitous encounter. So the author may expound on this later on. The characters were protrayed well. I just love the children’s antics and their protectiveness towards their mother. The FL, though she’s bent on revenge, she was more gearing on making up for her past regrets. Her Koi constitution was already present from her past life since she was 6 since it was said that her father’s fortune rose after she stayed with him in the end. The annoying part is that the translator did not get someone to edit this book. He/She, Her/Him mistakes were consistently seen all throughout the book which distracted me from reading it well since my OC Self kicked in to correct these. The other readers were also busy pointing out these pronouns issues. Please author, get someone to edit it. Such a good translation ruined by these pronouns.😤 Add this to your library and read it. Vote for it too but don’t forget to remind the translator to edit the translation especially the use of pronouns.😊😇

The story is not bad. It's a cute one so far... But the TYPOS 😰. There are too many mistakes. I hope it gets fixed and gets better in the future.

This is a good read if you’re going to ignore all those annoying errors in English Syntax. ❌ Capitalization ❌ Gender Pronouns: especially for the FL being referred to in Male Pronouns. 💭SPACE: this space was not much used aside from farming. I’m actually looking forward to see its upgrade. 1. Koi Physique 2. Mall Opening I’m currently re-reading this again so I’m in C169. A friend recommended it about a year ago. I halted my reading because I felt it was a bit “bland”. 💭WELL-WATER: I wonder if this will upgrade too. Currently, it functions as a beautifying, nurturing and strengthening agent. I hope it will upgrade to gain healing abilities. The villain Shen Lixuang (?) was evil and vile since she was a child (6). Anyhoo… I will continue to read again..

Oooh this one is a gem. Although I can't rest my heart for the first part with all the betrayal in the first 2 to 3 chapters, I liked how retribution comes flying the minute the bad guys take off in the story. I liked the dynamics between mother and daughter, and how it's not just FL who has brains in business prospects. But I am a little worried with how affected he eldest brother is with the break up of the family and betrayal of his father. All in all, I can't wait for this to be chosen and updated. [img=update]

A rebirth story where the rebirth started young. It's a pretty interesting plot at the start and clearly showed how different the FLs life was due to the changes she made. Although there's that concept of revenge, it's more like a 'you pay for what you do' rather than the FL really scheming against them. She doesn't need to do much and her enemies self distruct. It was kinda fun to read. 😅 A bit dragging at the end but it's a happy ending overall so it's OK for me. Highly recommended!😊👍
