A part of me wonders if this is a part of a conspiracy by scientists to test the limits of what Webnovel readers can read. If you're looking to be mildly entertained then I'm afraid this novel isn't for you since this isn't even capable of that, this novels greatest moments are lukewarm at best. There's not even a shred of originality to be found here, all we've got really is just a tepid rehash of the other 5 million "Critical Chance Multiplication" novels out there. It's hard to criticise the story or any other element of this novel really because they all feel non existent or blank, it isn't easy to dissect the novel equivalent to a sheet of white paper with some squiggly lines on it but I'ma try anyways. There is literally NO story. There is no world building (it's literally the same generic world you see in every other cultivation novel). There are no characters that aren't copypasted. This feels like reading a whole lot of nothing. If this novel was a spice, it'd be flour. I'd bet good money on me forgetting quite literally everything about this novel after I wake up tomorrow, this novel has been a mind numbingly forgettable experience. 0.5/5

LIKEOnly ever read a single decent one.
Sin_of_GREED:agreed whenever I see a multiplier in a novel i run away without a second thought while most have it the name of the novel some don't mention only to find it in the chapters worst ones is multiplier system and exchange system just leave such novels are 101% pure trash
Yeah I've mostly lost hope too but awhile back multiplier system novels were actually fairly decent so I keep trying them out every time thinking "maybe this time could be different". Hasn't paid off so far...

The Most Generous Master is decent especially once you really get past the initial petty conflicts, the characters (specifically the allies) actually have a bit of personality which is a rare find in the CN novel world. Also I think "I Am Such An Expert; Why Do I Have To Take In Disciples" is decent. Not entirely sure though since it has been a long time since I've read it but despite having read it a long time ago, I still have a positive impression of it so it might be worth checking out. As far as I know, these 2 are the only decent multiplier novels in existence.
Sin_of_GREED:do enlighten me with it's name
i have read these but i think one of them is not a multiplier system but a task-reward system

Despite how brutal some of my reviews have been, I have never been censored on a trial read before, at least not to my knowledge. I think censorship only happens with Webnovel Originals, authors can remove reviews there. Here's something kinda amusing about this: If your review is negative, the more well reasoned/written your review is, the more Webnovel Original authors want to remove them. If your review is stupid and negative though it gets a pass because the author and fans of the series can easily roast that but they can't do that when a review actually makes valid points.
GrandpaPeng:I'm surprised they haven't censored your 1 star rating yet. But yea this trial week is literally 0 titles worth checking out. These days it's mostly MTL reading;p
did you read any of the other novels? most of them are made to burn your braincells but at least for now this novel is readable. very few have original plot lines or try hard enough not to be the same with different places, powers, enemies. what i mean is they repeat the same situation over and over again with little to no difference. but well we have only 40 chapters and iy cpuld go downhill pretty fast
I have read the other novels. This novel just isn't readable by my standards and my standards are not relative to the other low quality stuff on this website. Just because you can read this, doesn't mean you should. You only have a finite amount of time on this earth before you're gone forever. And this is how you choose to spend it? I'm not going to chastise you for having low standards but you've got to come to a point where you go "huh. these novels are making my brain rot". If the best compliment you could give a novel is "readable" and most other people (like myself) think that's too much of a compliment, you gotta reconsider this, try KR novels or something idk. Here's a recommendation from this week's batch, this novel is actually enjoyable: There Is A Huge Problem With My Achievement System.

most of the novels that i recently read are korean or originals from kindle unlimited, i was bored and there are only 40 chapters so i gave it a try. i tried to read novels that are completed to read one at a time instead of spreading to several ongoin. kill the hero and never die extra are very entertaining to read, ending maker too

Oh I've read both of those. I recommend the Novel's Extra and Regressor Instruction Manual. I wouldn't suggest focusing on completed KR novels, most of the good ones are still being translated.
