hello there, it's the author here. This is kind of late to explain, but if you're new to HK, welcome to a long journey, for starters I wanted to say, before you judge or rate the story, try to read at least 20 chapters and then, go on, drop the book if you want. The thing is, as of now, I have written 65+ chapters and my writing + the story just keep getting better. (published only 40+) Hope everyone enjoys Hollywood King, do ask any question you've got! :))

Why harem though? Isn't it risky to go for that route? Or is it just because it's trendy these days? Personally, I don't like harem very much, just saying.

I love this novel ..it has such a good quality plot , great start , and lot of room for character development . This one is totally recommended..

Now even as the author mentioned this is a story inspired from MHS, but I can clearly say the story characters and mostly the flow keep you pretty hooked. Dare I say it's even better than the original most importantly its completely different setting even with many similarities especially the system and the main character. And I must say I really like this main character. Also I loved the way you gave the tribute to the original. Update has been pretty constant and I hope it will remain so. Altogether it's a must read for any one, it can be enjoyed by every class of genre lovers. Good job author I hope you keep going👍👍

The story is quite good for the first 50-60 chapters. But there are several problems, that the author is ignoring. The story is stronly focused on the production of the films. But after some films the writing becomes repetitive. We will develop this film. Those are the actors. We film. Then one or two chapters about the release and thats it. There is little new in the chapters. Then there are the relationships, that are highly underdeveloped. There is no real love interest for the mc. At most there are some ons with some actresses, but there is nothing about real relationships. The only character, that has some kind of relationnship, that is at least partly explored is the relationship with his uncle. In the end the mc is a workaholic, that does nothing other than producing films.

A big problem I have with this novel is the drama and I feel most people that read far enough know what I’m talking about. If the drama was removed and the story had another storyline I believe it would flow better as the drama ruins the flow of the novel. An example being the drama about Will being a dad, for the conclusion to be pointless and if you took out this section of the novel nothing would have changed.

But did you see that I skipped number 12 16. You checked and wandered why am I wasting my time on this. (You got tricked)

As of this moment there has been 20 chapters released. And this review has been a long time coming i was impressed by this work from the very first chapter. Writing Quality: 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Its pretty decent, the grammar is good, there are hardly any typos or misspellings. Its easy to understand and imagine. Story Development: 4 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is only because the story is still very new and alot is still left to cover, but in these 20 chapters released the MC has already written directed and produced his 1st movie and it was a BANGER. Character Design: 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ the characters are pretty well written not just the MC but the side characters as well even though they are few. We have only been introduced to 3 maybe 4 if include a girl. Still great work on this category. Updating Stability: 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely no complaints in this section. The author has been super consistent with his chapter updates. He does update 1 chapter everyday without fail. So for that hats off author-san. World Background: 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ alot is still left to be discovered as this is a parallel earth but with AU elements like major movie franchises being missing which is a huge benefit for the MC.
