I read this novel on MTL. It's a good and humorous one. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it though it wasn't translated that well. Spoiler Alert--But those few chapters about Xiao Qirui's death, Miss Yuan's grieving his death, then there was Miss Yuan's dream where she saw Xiao Qirui for the last time. How he said sorry...forget me and his letters to her really touched me. It was too touching. The author was too good at vividly describing her sadness that even I was influenced by it. This story all over was very good it was just that I felt that it would have been better if there was part where Xiao Qirui and Miss Yuan met, like transmigration or something.

it has a happy ending if we skip Xiao Qirui's death and Miss Yuan breaking down on his death. Although Xiao Qirui was an annoying character throughout the story in the end he sacrificed his life like a hero defending his country alone before the city gate when he was infected by Gu. If you are a very sensitive person I suggest you skip that part, the author seemed to have a knack of writing of emotional scenes. No, they are no Ml and Fl, Ml and Fl have a happy ending and have a pair of twin together

I have already mentioned the raw title in my previous review ... This review I am writing after reading the novel. If u love transmigration stories then this is for you. The FL is quite naive and silly but powerful She loves to fight and ML is cold, smart plus a wife slave 😜 Upto 250 chapters the story is nice and will keep u binding. The interactions between FL and ML are cute and funny.

It starts off strong and fairly simple with the characters all having immediate goals and motivations. It goes into absurdity when the mc is dense to the point of retardation and I don't mean in a cruel phrasing but in a medical sense. She has no concept of how babies are made and can't puzzle out even the most basic knowledge in this regard even with others telling he what to do. The male lead is either gay or impotent not bothering to make a move or even hint at things regarding their marriage. It strikes me as weird and unnatural to see characters acting this way even with the mc's backstory. Overall I like the novel but it loses some points for neutering the male lead and making the female lead too stupid even in context.
