I loved this novel at first, but toward the end I started to feel bored. Some things just don’t make sense. Like… is the military really a place where you can come and go as you please, even if you’re the best soldier? I didn’t know special forces soldiers could take 3 months breaks just because they’re angry at their captain 😂 That part felt really weird. I also expected more from this novel, especially after Ye Qianxiao successfully became part of the special forces after the selection. I really wanted to see more missions and training, but there was basically nothing about it. Honestly, if I hadn’t read other military novels, I’d probably rate this as the best one. The other military novel I read is way more action-packed with missions and training… but sadly, it’s on hiatus.

I finally decided to finish the novel, and honestly… I REGRET IT SO MUCH. I wasted so much time on this when I could’ve been reading a newer, actually interesting novel. The ending just cuts off out of nowhere. No buildup, no proper closure, NOTHING. They suddenly decide to live happily ever after like that’s enough to satisfy anyone. It feels rushed and completely unbothered. And the emperor? Completely powerless. No authority, no presence, just existing in the background while the ML does whatever he wants. I genuinely thought the ML would challenge him for the throne, even if that’s a cliché, at least it would’ve made sense. Instead, the ML stays in his own territory living peacefully while the emperor just watches from afar, unable to lift a finger. The dynamic is almost unbelievable. Overall, this novel gets 2.5/5 from me. It had potential, but it definitely didn’t use it well.

I’m at chapter 675 now, and the story started out fine. It had the usual transmigration setup, but it was enjoyable enough to keep me reading. When the ML appeared, I thought it might get more interesting. Instead, he shifts from quiet and reserved to suddenly losing his temper whenever the FL doesn’t follow what he wants. He even ends up choking her once, and her brother once, simply because he couldn’t handle being rejected. PATHETIC HUH His friend Jin Han adds to the chaos with his constant sarcasm and habit of bothering the FL for no real reason. And honestly, I still don’t feel any real chemistry between the ML and FL. Their interactions just don’t carry the connection I was hoping for. Now I’m not sure whether I should continue or put this novel on pause for a while.

I thought this novel would be another cliche… I WAS TOTALLY WRONG!! Badass FL? ✅ Cold ML? ✅ Comedy? ✅ FL stronger than the ML? DOUBLE ✅ The only annoying part is the ML’s army of obsessed admirers 😒😒 And also, there are so many typos, the “he/she” and “his/her” mix-ups, and sometimes even the character names get all mixed up... But who cares? The plot hooked me too hard to stop. 10/10. Read it NOW, you won’t regret it. I’ll definitely be re-reading this. It’s that good.

at first, i dont have any expectations on this story , but surprisingly the more i read, the more i love this! especially the main characters .. they are so cute.. the development between the characters is just nice. our jiajia is naive in a cute way😍 and the ml is a doting husband type.. so u all go read this story now!!!
