One of the best novels I have read to date. Looking forward to seeing how much more the characters will grow as the elf and the human he's adopted continue their adventures towards revenge and love.

First off, I just really love the expression of each of Lucas's and Eva's inner monologues. Seeing them pining for each other creates such an amazing effect for the slow burn aspect of their romance her dealing with the trauma of her "falling quickly" and having that keeping her from going further with Lucas is just excellently done On top of that, I find the magic system to be enjoyable and have an air of mystery to it. it does really well of being this almost "all-powerful force," but you don't use it as a crutch to solve every problem. The characters don't rely on this crutch because they, themselves, do not understand that The world building is excellent and the pacing is sublime. I appreciate how even during "downtime" there is still something there to capture the interest of the reader. (typically this was achieved through the inner monologues from earlier) Even though they arent communicating with each other on everything they let just enough show that it doesnt frustrate me as a reader and finding that balance between realistic secrecy and secrecy for the sake of plot is hard to get. A lot of animes and LN have people give stupid reasons for not speaking their minds, but in NBR it their reasons are genuine and understood because we as the readers have seen the events that made them want to act this way

good stuff, reminds me of other stuff that I read. fox jokes- 1-Why were the foxes hunting rabbits? Because they were in the mood for fast food! 2-Why was the artist taking a long time drawing a fox? Because he paid too much attention to de-tail.

Aside from little to no errors, everything was good – from its flow to grammars. Particularly chapter 5? or 6? I appreciate the use of the almost perfect Motivation Reaction Units. Story Development: Intriguing! It leaves you interested on what will happen next. As long as you read the first 3 chapters, it's easy to get engrossed in reading the succeeding chapters. Character Design: Multidimensional, I must say. The dilemma, the conflict, the emotional disarray, everything was weaved at 88% to my liking! Particularly, the FL, she's like a real person; which I appreciate the most. Updating Stability: No worries! I'm a cultured beggar. I live through begging... more chapies. If the author doesn't update, I'll use my secret technique on her! World Background: Interesting! Although not the author's focus; and he/she just described it vivid enough, it was still enough to let me enter the book's world. If the author can add 10% details, the work will certainly be upgraded by a tier! Overall: This beggar has changed and was now stingy at his praises. I created a 'to read or not scale', 1 being don't read, and 10 being the most recommended. According to my overall judgement, this book scored 8/10. 8 = Great potential, and worth reading!
