stopped as soon as I read his mother married a muggle. Muggles don't even have half the lifespan of a wizard. Felt pretty illogical to me.

yeah dude that's what never made sense to me why would they want to marry someone who will die long before them? no matter if it's cannon or not. Also while I don't supposed dumbomort I think Grindelwald was very logical despite his radical methods. So stories like this don't appeal anymore to me after fantastic Beasts. This kind of stories and equality logic was fine in my teenage but now when I know the dark side of humanity it's pretty much clear to me the muggle lovers are naive. look at what happens to mutants in marvel humans in general will never accept wizards.

I get where you're coming from But the Life Expectancy of Witches and Wizards is not that off from muggles with some exceptions. Giver or take Wizards/witches live about 50 years more. Though I could totally understand if this is a reason a magical would not want to be with a muggle 50 years without your loved one would be painful.

uhh probably because she loved him? why would that be considered illogical? doesn't matter how long you two spend time with each other it's about How you spent it. ugh I really need to read the English vocabulary. I can't find words to explain it better.

That's just recipe for an unhappy marriage. Any marriage that happens without long thoughtout plans usually end in divorce. Can you imagine yourself falling in love with a person that you know will die a century before you? Then you have to spend a century in loneliness without your loved one. I always say love is just one of the factors for a successful marriage. It is also true there is something like eternal love as there isn't .In most cases it fades with time and only interests like raising children , finance , etc keeps a marriage together. I don't mean to destroy the fantasy view you have of love but this is the reality. Some couples manage to keep their marriages interesting and cordial till their deaths only because they have a deep understanding of each other like best friends . So love is a very fickle thing tbh. In my country usually people make their partners go through a strict medical check up before marriage as it is a life long commitment. Things like if two people are thalasemia carriers their child will have it. It is very important to know if their marriage will affect their future offsprings otherwise you are just doing a disservice yo your future offsprings.

Usually a weak wizard will live 140-150 years but a muggle rarely lives past 70-80.Think about it and then imagine of you are a decently above average wizard you may even live till 200.We know Dumbledore was above 200 and still going strong and there are many decades older than even Dumbledore not counting Nicholas Flamel. Also whatever you say physical beauty matters and wizard age much slower than muggles. Imagine you better half looking like a shriveled raisin while you look barely in your middle Ages.

I have no idea where you got the Idea that only weak Wizard/witches live 140-150. The average Wizard/witch Life span according to canon is 137. (Regardless of strength) There are some who differ in lifespan but those are rare. And Dumbledore died at 115 so I have no idea where you are going with him being 200. This is all canon.

yeah sorry i checked you are right my source was wrong got it from a guy in dlp. But still you gotta see the point bi am making 50 years or so without your partner is just sad considering old age is exactly the period where you need companionship the most.

I think Snape's mother ran away from home and married a muggle to spite her parents as a form of teenage rebellion, but in general I think it makes no sense for a magical to marry a muggle since the 2 worlds are split and don't interact or accept each other.

We have had a Normal Human Live 124~ years Not Including Potions work on Normal Humans (Muggles) Soo.. Potion of Youth Might Need to be a Potion Master soo maybe not 😅 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 124 and 150 isn't that far apart not Including the Magic will Boost their lifespan a bit further due to living in the Mana for about 90 of those years so figure probably 130-150 Vs 150-180 years not as far now is It? Plus We have 80 year olds marrying 20 year olds more often than you would think my uncle and his girl are like 9~11 years apart

Bro, if you fell in love, you fell in love, what about thinking: I love you, but you're going to die at 80 and I'll die at 140, so no. That's not how life works. If he dies at 80, then screw him, or marry a twenty-something, whatever.
