thank God I mean there alot of authors that drop novels without letting the readers know and I'm like "why"? ;-;

Well, usually most fanfic authors just write as a hobby, like me. So there are a lot of reasons that can make an author drop, like real life problems, or just losing interest.

As for dropping it without warning, I think most hobby authors just don't feel responsible enough to do that, as they aren't getting paid for sharing the story and it's just writing for fun
