So he is the hero of a monstrous eye from another dimension. And did the author use that as a premise for him to go back to the regular world and do what a completely ordinary person would do except cheating? Wouldn't it be easier to have a rich dad who pays bribes to the Chinese government and gets some diplomatic post?

Huh. It's actually good. Basically, guy gets an object identification skill, and is turned into a genius. Those are his two cheats (so far). Aside from that, it's the usual "there was a 'spiritual awakening' in the recent past" type novel. Entrance examinations, monster hunting, "evolution", etc..

Wow. Another good read. I'm so shocked I can't think straight! lol JK. Anyway the MC is more along the lines of the brainy type rather than the brash brawny type. The world revealed has great potential. Still I hope he's not locked into one "Class-type evolution." It would be fun if he can adapt to various world laws and evolve into versions that are compatible with each of the places he visits. I'll definitely keep reading once it's released if the quality is the same.
