it's pretty faithful a few things have changed such as the genes originaly there r 5 genes one being super gene that no one but the protag knows about and the golden armour covers his entire body not leaving a mouth area atleast that was the description other that that it's honestly the same .very few things have been changed and the things that have been left out isn't a bad thing I highly recommend the original to u though
