For 900 chapters did I read this and think it was an ok story. But then the 5th arc started and destroyed the novel. Lith has LITERALLY spent more time sleeping than being with his loved ones. Where is the slice of life in that? He has spent most of his time with two guys and a friend zoned girl than with the people he loves. This is supposed to be a romance story, but he has spent more time away from family and more time with friends by a 10 to 1 ratio. Is he secretly gay or something? Not to mention the author goes on to keep saying that he is now a vampire and above human morals, but proceeds to go on a 200 year long fiasco over some low level taunt by a person he LITERALLY hasn't known for 5 minutes. What do you even say to that? What was the point? I can't stress this enough. Lith would rather go around goofing off than spend time with his family. Also, he is a serious beta male. I mean this in all honesty and seriousness. Lith never has any negative emotion towards his females. He doesn't get angry, frustrated, or upset; even when they physically and verbally abuse him. He just says that they are doing it out of love and worry, and then take whatever punishment they dish out with zero complaints.

Thank you for the nice reply. Most authors tend to be mean when criticized. I really have enjoyed the story, but seeing him spend centuries away from family for an honest to god dumb side quest, blew me away. Then, once he gets home, all he gets is nagging and punishment. Lith stopped feeling relatable as a person at that point. A small piece of advice from me would be to have lith feel some amount of negative emotion towards his loved ones. No one is perfect, and adding that amount of imperfection makes the characters feel more believable. Conflict between characters adds an enormous amount of development. I do appreciate all your hard work though.

SocialHippo:I am sorry to hear that. Vsol did indeed start out with a slice of life concept and romance, and soon branched out into arcs that people may/may not liked. I get where you’re coming from, and I totally understand you. Thanks for sticking around till 900 chapters of vsol. It’s two years of hardwork of mine :D Even if you discontinue it from here onwards, I’ll forever be grateful for you to have read it this far! In the future, I hope my talent allows me to write something that you’ll forever remember and keep close to heart. Let’s meet again later, dear reader!

The story had to be driven forward. The execution may not be the best, but that’s the best I could come up with to open a new door for Lith to enter the higher realms. You are indeed right that there needs to be some negative emotion, but hey, this is a fantasy novel after all. As of now, Lith doesn’t feel relatable because his character growth had been stagnant. He hasn’t changed much other than become a bit serious. I’ll try to put more emphasis on him and his harem, but it’s been a thousand chapters now, and I need to drive the plot a bit forwards. Once I feel it’s sufficiently ahead, I’ll get back to character development and romcom slice of life :D

I Think there were 3 yuri scenes that didn't involve the MC. it's not something that happens often at all.
