read up to the 70s and dropped it, its not even bad as far as writing goes it just feels slow and i never get the feeling of wanting to read more or get hype about the main character, i feel like the initial part of the story had me hooked and everything after felt like a drag. So it's a good read if you don't mind that kind of story, just not for me

just got to 96 and said nope. I hated the memory tree, and time skip. plus, still in same dungeon. I hear that it just continues like that for a while. No beef or hate towards novel, I'm just going to bounce cause the pacing is not my speed. also sunless seems like two differnet people. I understand that characters can grow or change, but quiet introspective survival sunless is very different from sunless school arc/ in a party sunless. it was very jarring and weird to read.
i recommend you to read a few more chapters, after the initial fights and things repeating it gets really, really interesting exspecially with the start of volume 2, you will find new mysteries and a glimpse of one of sunnys companions past, with more characters and a diverse and new setting, it hooked me up a ton. Not only that its kinda shame you dropped it at the 70's since i actually enjoyed the plot twist about the tree and sunny trying his best to convince his friends to leave and even fight them 10/10 for me, i hope you could give it a chanceee[img=update]
It's not for everyone's taste like LOTM because the writer creates a story that is complex and focused on other characters + the main character doesn't become super op just by a system. It has the emotions to make you feel the characters are real and you can relate to them. And for that Most of the people who read Harem, a Main character who doesn't work for their powers. face slapping won't like this type of story.
