Speach format: Ryoto: "Aah!" Without properly written dialogs I can't read it. Is it that hard to write like in books and not like a script for a movie?

Thanks for the incredibly useful and helpful review. It really helped me improve my story and be a better writer. Keep doing a great work. 👍 But to be serious this format is helps me write better dialogue without confusing who is speaking because I have sometimes a problem with that while reading other fanfics and I'm not confident that I wouldn't write like that as well. I may try writing some chapters like a nroaml book but I'll stick with this format until I'm more confident in my writing. That's why it's in this format.

Friend, dear author, the thing I and many other people reacted badly isn't that hard to fix and wouldn't require much work: Instead of writing: Peter: "Let's eat." John: "You're right." The only difference would be: "Let's eat," Peter said. "You're right," John said. Look, no confusion about who is speaking, it's still clearly written. For even better quality of your story, you could change 'said' to other words like 'sighed', 'exclaimed', 'shouted' etc., but that's an additional improvement. It's true that at some point, some dialog lines could be left without clearly indicating the one, who spoke... Still, the bare minimum requires only changing the order and adding a word like 'said'.
