I really want to like it, but can't. It's just a one piece power trip. Had enough strength to be stronger than admirals handed to him at the very start. His cheat makes him invincible if he wants to hide in one of his stores. The only plus to this story is the reactions of the characters reading one piece/the future. There's no struggle at all. The closest thing to a struggle is when fighting an admiral, and he just exhausted him to the point that the admiral had to escape. Now the world government doesn't even want to kill him anymore. To much cheat and too little hard work. For someone that was perfect in his first life and reached the top with his own power, he really needs handouts from god to stand out at all in one piece. He could have just had the paper devil fruit and used that to actually build his trade/manga empire. But no, he just has to sell enough manga and as soon as he puts a store on an island it belongs entirely to him. The world government cant even enter the island if he doesn't want them to. It's made 10 times worse that he gets a second devil fruit power later. Lame, boring, and lazy writing. Author doesn't want to make the main character struggle to get anything, and just wants to hand it to them.

thought so..... it's already like this by the 7th chapter.... what really put me off is imortality and stores invincibility......with these two things is there any meaning left to the world government, Marines ECT..... they would just become decorations
i also feared it was gonna be like that. i'm at the 3rd chapter and after seeing how he was given literal immortality and even the power of a vice admiral from the start with supposedly enough talent to already be an admiral i knew this was gonna be lazy power trip. What's the point of having a whole system if he's already close to the peak of power in the world? There is no struggle or conflict and seemingly no hope for it. And with such a flawed and lazy premise I highly doubt the author is skilled enough to make such a stale plot interesting. At least I won't waste my time.

Your mind has been numbed by bad stories. There are a lot of overpowered main character stories that I like, some where the main character is even invincible. In berserk there isn't a single demon that can beat guts, yet he constantly goes through the struggles of life. In overlord the main character is literally the strongest, yet we see characters unique personalities and his plans for conquest. In that time i got reincarnated as a slime we see good kingdom building, and interesting combat. In mob psycho 100 we see the harm mental trauma and bullying can cause even though the main character might as well be god. In ruronori kenshin we see how a basically invincible samurai deals with a world changing to one based around peace, and him trying to stop those that would sabotage it. All while he fights to keep his own new beliefs. In one punch man we see all of the side characters having massive character development after interacting with saitama, along with good comedy. This story is literally just the main character getting everything spoonfed to him, all while people read the future and cry.

I totally agree with what you say I've seen many stories of this genre like the one you mentioned "that time I reincarnated as a slime" it's a very good story if the person doesn't like it just don't read it
